i have a 8330 curve and was thinking of getting a tour..

what do you guys think.. that have one..

ive heard good and bad things about them...

need help deciding if not to get it or not

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm waiting for the Tour 2 or Bold 9650--whatever they decide to call it. I've heard that people have had trouble with battery life and trackball on Tour.

check that.....not sure battery is an issue on Tour. But trackball definitely is. Tour 2 will have Track pad and rumor has it, a higher resolution screen. Not sure if there are any other differences. Expected in March or April, but who knows.

Bold 9650 is going to be the name. Tour 9630 is a solid phone. Some people have trackball issue but easily fixed by VZW. Overall, it's a solid phone and I love it when I play with my girl's Tour. Internet is faster then any BB out there besides the Bold 9700 which is about the same.

If you want to wait for the 9650 then go for it. It has a trackpad and wifi and if that is what your interested then I'd wait for that. Some like the trackpad and some don't. I'm on the border, it's too sensitive for me.

Good point on trackpad. I really haven't played with it much. I never have problems with the ball on my Curve. I'll probably wait for the 9650. The rumour release date keeps getting moved. Latest I heard was April.
