I haven't tried the new 5.0 OS software but I know for me personally, and other users of unlocked storm's, have had trouble accessing youtube of their devices. This only applies to unlocked storms I'm sure. I think in the unlocking process, the .cod files don't allow for video streaming.

I'm running 4.7.....(148), and it doesn't work. When I change the apn settings to run on wap, the "EDGE" turns to "edge" and I can see youtube videos but I can no longer use the internet browser or BBM.

Long and short of my story is, does anyone know if the new 5.0 OS solves this problem?

The EDGE to edge thing will happen throughout all 5.0 OS. But I head the latest OS 5.0.0.348 for the 9530 and 5.0.0.428 for 9550 has a more stable EDGE connection then previous OS.
